Amid a surge in mental health crisis involving AI chatbots, including spat of suicide cases amongst teens and adults alike, Sam Altman-led OpenAI has introduced parental control. The company in its official announcement stated,

The feature was long overdue and might need further tweaking based on use cases. The company has assured that parental control won’t be invasive for the youngsters.
