ChatGPT Atlas is real: this is the new browser with which OpenAI wants to conquer the market – Diario AS

Tech
The fact that the way many people search for information on the internet has changed is no surprise to anyone at this point. Nor is the fact that content published on the internet created with artificial intelligence now surpasses that created by humans. But there is always room to go further, and OpenAI, the company led by Sam Altman, has just done so by announcing ChatGPT Atlas, its new browser with integrated AI.
At the moment, it is only available on macOS (it can be downloaded and installed from this link), Apple’s operating system, but it will soon be available on Windows, Android, and iOS (iPhone) as well. ChatGPT Altas allows users to search and communicate with the chatbot in question in a kind of ‘all-in-one’ format, as it is now possible to interact with it via text, images, and audio. The browser is free and can be used without being a GPT Pro member. It also allows you to import data from other browsers such as Firefox or Safari.
In general terms, the user experience when using it is similar to that of any other browser, as it can suggest content based on history, remember the information we are looking for, open several tabs at once, etc. One of the hallmarks of ChatGPT Atlas is that it is very recognizable, as its aesthetic design and layout of elements is very similar to what we have long been accustomed to when accessing ChatGPT. Here’s an example.
