LimeChat, in collaboration with Microsoft, today announced the release of an advanced AI-powered chatbot, a significant step forward in e-commerce customer support. This technology is designed to provide enhanced, efficient, secure, and personalized customer service experience, marking a new chapter in support solutions. Leveraging Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, LimeChat has introduced its enhanced chat automation tailored for e-commerce. This isn’t merely a chatbot—it’s a leap into consultative customer-brand interactions. Its dynamic learning refines engagement with every interaction.
Early adopters, like Wow Skin Science, have observed tangible improvements. The highlight has been the accuracy of the bot, with error rates under 0.1%.
Further complementing this is LimeChat’s Agent Assist—a feature crafted to provide support agents with deeper AI-driven insights, enabling them to tackle complex queries 20% faster.
Nikhil Gupta, Founder, LimeChat, said, “Partnering with Microsoft elevates customer support standards. By harnessing Microsoft Azure’s retrieval algorithms, embedding models, and LLMs, we’re transforming customer interactions significantly.”

Solution Details:
One of the key models used at LimeChat is embedding models available in Azure OpenAI Service. With these models LimeChat can create embedding which is a special format of data representation that makes it easy to perform natural language task like similarity embedding to capture semantic similarity between two or more pieces of text and text search embedding, which helps in measuring whether long documents are relevant to a short query.
GPT 3.5 Turbo model is another model that LimeChat utilizes extensively. With GPT3.5 Turbo, LimeChat is able to derive benefits of the conversational nature of the model and is able to deliver a conversational bot for its customers. With the capabilities available in both forms- GUI and code based, LimeChat is able to democratize AI across the organization from a developer’s perspective.
The security concerns around data storage and data governance are also taken care of with Azure OpenAI Service. LimeChat’s data is not available to any other organization, not made available to OpenAI, not used to improve OpenAI models and also not used to improve any Microsoft or 3rd party products or services.
