Automotive retail tech provider Pinewood.AI has launched a GPT-powered digital assistant, designed to enhance online customer journeys and improve dealership efficiency.
The Automotive Intelligence Chat (AI Chat) tool is available to dealers globally following a successful pilot in the UAE, with rollout confirmed across more than 20 countries and support for over 20 languages.
Positioned as a ‘digital concierge’, AI Chat offers always-on customer engagement, enabling website visitors to book test drives, enquire about inventory, schedule servicing, and receive tailored support.
With 48% of customer interactions happening outside traditional business hours, the tool provides a significant advantage for dealerships looking to convert interest into action.

According to Pinewood.AI, the assistant responds 97.2% faster than traditional tools, while also offering enterprise-grade security to protect customer information.
AI Chat is designed not only to streamline engagement but also to provide valuable business insights.
It includes lead-scoring capabilities and Google Analytics integration to track user behaviour and measure sales funnel performance. Approximately one-third of all conversations to date have led to inventory and sales-related enquiries.
