StubHub Launches ChatGPT App, Letting Fans Find Tickets Through Conversation – TicketNews

StubHub annoucned it has launched a new app experience inside OpenAI’s ChatGPT, aiming to make it easier for fans to discover and compare tickets for live events through a conversational interface rather than traditional browsing and manual filtering.
With this integration, fans can now search for concerts, sports, theater and other events directly within a ChatGPT conversation, with access to real-time inventory and pricing. Instead of switching between tabs or repeatedly adjusting filters, users can refine results naturally through follow-up prompts — for example, asking for “the best view” and then pivoting to “the cheapest options,” with the results updating accordingly.
“We’re committed to meeting fans where they are and excited to give fans another way to access live events,” StubHub Chief Technology Officer Art Yegorov said in announcing the integration. OpenAI’s Nick Turley, VP and Head of ChatGPT, called the StubHub launch another step toward connecting AI conversations directly to real-world services that can save users time.
StubHub said getting started can be as simple as mentioning StubHub in a ChatGPT conversation and asking for events, dates, or teams. From there, users can continue narrowing results — such as requesting two tickets, shifting to a different weekend, or prioritizing seats with a better view — with the app carrying preferences across the conversation. When a fan finds the right listing, the flow sends them to StubHub to complete the purchase.
The company positioned the feature as a dedicated “ticket-finding assistant,” highlighting real-time availability and pricing, conversational memory of preferences, and StubHub-specific signals such as value scoring and view quality.
StubHub said the ChatGPT app experience is available now on desktop and mobile web, as well as within the ChatGPT iOS and Android apps.
