Swedish PM Admits To Using AI Tools Like ChatGPT For Second Opinions; OpenAI’s President Reacts – Mashable India
Sweden’s Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, in his recent remarks, admitted to using AI chatbots for a second opinion. Among the AI tools the Swedish PM uses are OpenAI’s ChatGPT and LeChat, a French AI bot. Speaking with Dagens industri, a Swedish business daily, Kristersson, as quoted by the Guardian, stated the following:
“I use it myself quite often. If for nothing else than for a second opinion. What have others done? And should we think the complete opposite? Those types of questions.”
Reacting to the news, the president and co-founder of OpenAI, Greg Brockman, quipped, “ChatGPT for helping the Swedish Prime Minister.”

While OpenAI might take this as a win-win, netizens are skeptical, and so are several Swedish citizens who criticized their leader’s reliance on AI. Meanwhile, reactions poured in on social media with Terminator memes.
“Bro is vibe ministering,” jibed one user, while another wrote, “If all world leaders start using chatGPT for a ‘second opinion,’ it won’t be long before the AI companies have all the power to influence the political landscape.”
A third user remarked, “I’m not categorically against using AI to research things… but it makes me realize exactly how much influence OpenAI could have if they decided to start biasing their models.” Yet another user commented, “So Sam Altman is a pseudo-president of the world now? it’s over; send the asteroid.”
One user took a cheeky dig: “ChatGPT—should I go to war with Russia or the EU? Do not make mistakes.” Another served a caution: “Hopefully his government has set up local hosting. A leader’s query history is a matter of national security.”
