(LILAMAX)- Nvidia has reclaimed the title of the world’s most valuable company. The chipmaker’s stock surged on Wednesday, pushing its market value to an astonishing $3.8 trillion. Despite U.S. government restrictions on its chip sales to China, Nvidia shares have continued to rise sharply this year.
Meanwhile, dating app Bumble is slashing 30 percent of its workforce. The company says the move is part of an effort to become more agile as online dating habits evolve. Industry analysts point to a shift among younger users, who are moving away from swipe-based dating apps and showing a growing interest in meeting people in person.
Victims of an AT&T data breach may soon be eligible for compensation. A $177 million settlement has been reached, including a $149 million fund that affected users can claim from. Those eligible have until November 18 to file for a payout.
A new study out of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology suggests long-term use of ChatGPT could have negative effects on brain function. Researchers found that participants who used the AI tool to help write essays showed reduced brain connectivity—and had more difficulty recalling information from the texts they produced.
