Watch: Camilo unveils new single ‘Maldito ChatGPT’ – entertainment-focus.com

Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo has released his new single ‘Maldito ChatGPT’ along with the accompanying music video.
With the song Camilo dives into the internal chaos of loving someone who may not ‘make sense’ on paper and still choosing that person with your heart – even against the will of the ‘smarter‘ artificial intelligence. The track blends honesty and irony, emotional vulnerability with imaginative storytelling, and its tone is set with the sonic backdrop of Camilo’s signature pop-meets-folk sound.

In his own words, shared on @camilo: “We live surrounded by quick answers. By formulas designed to avoid failure. By technologies that predict and know everything. By ideas about what love is supposed to look like. But there’s something that doesn’t fit into any logic. Or any checklist. Love isn’t a casting call. Love is something you feel. And nothing — and no one — can ever feel it for us.”
The music video is directed by Evaluna Montaner and Sebastian Andrade and filmed at El Taller Creativo in Miami. It nods to cult classic film ‘Office Space’. In the visual, Camilo spirals in a dim, windowless office, surrounded by chaos: papers strewn on the floor, post-it notes scattered across the walls, and existential questions about his relationship filling the air as well as his computer screen. At one point, Camilo even swims atop a Xerox machine, stuck in a loop of indecision.
Camilo pleads for clarity, and eventually from ChatGPT, who supposedly knowshim better than he does. However he continues to search for answers: flipping a Magic 8-Ball, consulting a finger fortune teller, and pulling petals from a flower.
At the heart of the lyrics, Camilo asks if his love defies compatibility, reason, and well-intentioned advice from anyone (or anything), including artificial intelligence. The tongue-in-cheek title, too, playfully questions the increasing role of AI in our personal experiences: love, heartbreak, and indecision. What happens when technology reflects “truths” that we do not believe are true and do not want to hear?
‘Maldito ChatGPT’ follows Camilo’s ‘Nuestro Lugar Feliz’ tour, which wrapped this month in his hometown of Medellín, closing a whirlwind run through the U.S., Spain, and Latin America. The final show was part of La Feria, a hometown celebration with surprise guests including Morat, Nanpa Básico, Evaluna, Ricardo Montaner, and Mau y Ricky.
