Microsoft gives free AI upgrade to Bing that creates ‘any image you dream up’ by sending a chat message… – The US Sun

WEB search engine Bing by Microsoft has added a new artificial intelligence image generator to its AI tool.
The Bing AI chatbot Bing Chat will now offer DALL-E 3 which allows users to create any realistic-looking image they can dream up with just a message.
Microsoft announced DALL-E 3 being added to all Bing Chat and Bing Chat Image Creator users on Monday in a release.
It is available through Bing Chat and Bing.com/create at no cost.
DALL-E 3 uses a text-to-image model from OpenAI and is the latest model of it.
Bing is getting access to DALL-E 3 before OpenAI’s own ChatGPT does which is set to happen in October.
Compared to other AI image generators, DALL-E 3 promises to offer “enhancements that improve the overall quality and detail of images, along with greater accuracy for human hands, faces, and text in images," per the release.
Microsoft said that it has implemented the new tech to help inspire people’s creativity.
It can be used to create an array of different types of images.
Some example includes illustrated stories, thumbnails for social media content, PC backgrounds, and design inspirations.
“DALL-E 3 is a breakthrough in text-to-image generation, powered by a deep neural network that can produce realistic and diverse images from natural language prompts. DALL-E 3 builds on the success of previous models,” Microsoft said.
Here is a breakdown of its key improvements, per Microsoft.
Bing originally offered Bing Image Creator which created over 1 billion images since it launched.
Now, Bing is excited to take its AI image generation to the next level.
