New AI chatbot designed to help people explore Fort Wayne – 21 Alive News
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Finding new places to explore in Fort Wayne can be hard.
But this new AI chatbot called “ASK WAYNE” is designed to help with that.
“We developed it, because we were having a conversation amongst ourselves literally about ‘what do you want to do this weekend’,” Creator Brian Walters said.
Walters, DJ Wallstrom and his wife, Crystal, are the creators of the website.
They say it’s an opportunity to showcase some of what Fort Wayne has to offer.
“It’s not perfect, but we’ve gotten quite a bit of feedback,” Walters said. “People find it useful and using it as a resource to find new things.”
The website is easy. Just go to askwayne.io and type in a question.
In a matter of moments, it offers a couple options of local spots in Fort Wayne that fits your question.
The creators say it’s more than just a guide, it’s a look into the way of life in the Summit City.
“It’s really exciting to be in Fort Wayne and kind of working on a leading-edge technology and trying to bring that technology into Fort Wayne and have Fort Wayne seen as a hub of innovation,” Wallstrom said.
