Roy Keane the headline snub from ChatGPT’s greatest-ever Premier League XI while FOUR ex-Man Utd teammates… – The Irish Sun

ONE OF the biggest debates in Premier League history is what players should make the all-time best starting XI from the league.
AI software ChatGPT is the latest addition to the argument and has generated what the program believes to be the greatest 11 players to play in the league.
There is no doubt it will divide opinions of football fans but some will feel that it is a fair side.
When asked by the betting experts at Bettingapps.org, ChatGPT went with a 4-3-3 formation.
In goal is Peter Schmeichel from Manchester United, which is usually a popular choice.
Another United star, Gary Neville, claims the right-back spot with John Terry and Vincent Kompany named as centre-backs.
Ashley Cole is chosen as the left-back.
The three midfielders are Steven Gerrard, Paul Scholes and Frank Lampard.
Occupying the wings are Cristiano Ronaldo and Thierry Henry.
Finally, in the lone striker spot is the record goalscorer Alan Shearer.
According to ChatGPT: "This lineup includes players who have consistently demonstrated exceptional skill, impact, and longevity in the Premier League.
"However, there are many other players who could also be considered among the best, depending on personal preferences and criteria for evaluation."
Due to objectivity, there cannot be a correct answer to the best Premier League XI but there are a few stand-out omissions.
Roy Keane is an obvious one who has missed out, as is Ireland and Man United teammate Denis Irwin.
Keane was mentioned by ChatGPT in terms of other midfielders who could have made the list including Patrick Viera, Yaya Toure, David Silva and Cesc Fabregas.
Irwin was not mentioned however when it was quizzed further on who else might have made the list in defence.
ChatGPT admitted that: "There are several other outstanding defenders who could also be considered for the best Premier League XI, including; Nemanja Vidic, Sol Campbell, Rio Ferdinand, Jaap Stam, Kyle Walker, and Virgil van Dijk."
In the front line, ChatGPT states that other alternatives to Ronaldo, Henry and Shearer could be: "Dennis Bergkamp, Didier Drogba, Wayne Rooney, Sergio Aguero, Andrew Cole, Robbie Fowler and Ruud van Nistelrooy."
Many people will no doubt debate the all-time XI, but this one definitely does have some logic behind it.
