ChatGPT integration now available for DS Automobiles cars – Notebookcheck.net
DS Automobiles has announced the integration of ChatGPT into its vehicles, available in European countries. The company claims its cars are the first in the region to feature the artificial intelligence model. ChatGPT works alongside the existing DS IRIS SYSTEM to become an intelligent assistant compatible with voice commands.
DS suggests that you could use the AI tool to find out information about your destination, like asking the assistant which are the most beautiful works of art at the Louvre. Other ideas include generating a quiz or children’s story to provide entertainment on your journey. To access ChatGPT, users must say “OK IRIS” or press the dedicated steering wheel button to trigger the smart assistant. You can then use voice commands to get the information of your choosing.
The ChatGPT feature will initially be available in a pilot phase, offered to the first 20,000 customers subscribed to use the DS IRIS SYSTEM on their DS 3, DS 4, DS 7 or DS 9 vehicles. The trial will run for six months at no extra cost to users, requiring them to subscribe between October 19 2023 and February 29 2024. The tool will be offered in European countries, including the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Germany.
